This sculpture portrays a pair of cockatoos, set side by side on a wooden base made up of hardstone foliage and metal branches wound with thread. These cloisonné enamels have bright, well-matched colours highlighted by aureate contours. A symbol of self-confidence, the cockatoo freely shows itself to the world to share (or not) its inner wisdom.
